Yoga Vidya music festival in Europe's largest yoga seminar house
A music festival with internationally known artists will take place in Horn-Bad Meinberg on May 9th. Visitors experience first-class musical enjoyment and can look forward to yoga classes, workshops and much more.
"Here is playing the music!" In the largest yoga seminar house in Europe there is a festival atmosphere for four days: Indian grooves, traditional Indian dance, kirtan singing, NIA dance, Kalari, healing chants, derwish dance, shiatsu with music, tongola, didgeridoo, perfomances and much more connect the visitors through the universal Language of music.
The 9th Yoga Vidya Music Festival is intended to bring people back together, make them experience the positive effects of yoga and music for a whole weekend, and combine them with the joy of partying.
Festival highlights include: a. the appearances of Sundaram, Danilo and Friends and Mirabei Cabei. Visitors can listen, sing along, dance along and thus determine for themselves how they can be transformed by the powerful, as well as the heart-opening melodies. In addition to the concerts spread over the days, there are a series of workshops in drums, dance, voice training and much more.
Children's theater, face painting and drum workshops for kids During the entire festival you can participate in meditation, breathing exercises, parallel yoga classes and ceremonies. In addition, there is not only a treat for the ears, but also for the eyes and the palate: from muesli to raw food to Indian Ayurvedic exotic, visitors can look forward to lavish, healthy and colorful food from one of the largest organic kitchens in Germany.
The festival kicks off on Thursday May 9th with the opening by Sacinandana Swami at 6:30 p.m., followed by an official opening concert with Janin Devi and Friends at 8:00 p.m. The festival ends with a final concert with Jayamba meets Babek Bondien on Sunday, May 12th, at 2:00 p.m. (pm)
