Women: the stronger gender

Women: the stronger gender

According to some studies, women are the stronger sex

It has long been assumed that women are the stronger sex. This has now resulted in a representative survey of the "Pharmacy Survey". Whether dealing with pain, illnesses or getting older. Women suffer less. So the strong gender is not the masters of creation, but women. At least the participants in a survey of the "Apotheken Umschau" share this view.

Women have fewer problems with illnesses and strokes of fate The respondents have the same view, especially when dealing with illnesses. Men are less resilient; for two thirds of the respondents, men are the more envious of sex. Every second respondent believes that men give up more quickly than women when it comes to illnesses. For half of the participants, men cope with age-related physical degradation worse than the female gender. These results have now resulted from a large-scale survey by GFK Marktforschung Nürnberg, which the “Apotheken Umschau” commissioned. A total of 2118 women and men aged 14 and over took part in the survey.

According to the results of this survey, women can certainly feel more than confirmed. The majority of those surveyed are of the opinion that women are better able to deal with diseases, aging and the death of their partner than the so-called strong gender. This was stated by 76% of the respondents.

Men more self-pitying for biological reasons At the beginning of the year, a British study by Queen Mary University in London came to the conclusion that men suffer the agony of even the tiniest colds. These not only simulate, but actually suffer more from the symptoms of the disease. One reason for this is the immune defense. Women's immune systems can adapt to infections much faster and more efficiently. As a result, the symptoms of the disease are usually more pronounced in men.

Strong immune system protects, especially in wet and cold seasons. The doctors were able to detect significantly more white blood cells in the female body. It is suspected that these blood cells are involved in the defense against bacteria and other pathogens. Especially in the cold season, an intact strong immune system protects against influenza infections. In order to keep the immune system fit, the consumption of fruits and vegetables helps above all. Exercise and exercise also stimulate the circulation and blood circulation. (fr)
