Carrots in the bag or the peel should be cleared of plastic before storage, otherwise they will quickly become bad. Because of the higher temperatures on the way home, the shrink-wrapped vegetables start to sweat easily. The moisture can then cause mold to form. It is best to store carrots - without green stuff and plastic packaging - wrapped in a damp cloth in the fridge.

The bioactive plant substance is converted into vitamin A in the body and has a positive effect on the immune system, metabolism, blood cells, skin and mucous membranes.
